Opinion:
Keep filesharing to a minimum... play games instead...
You can go home and download files if you really want something bad enough.

i do like the idea of using dc++ instead of windows file sharing for a couple reasons. first, its easier to shut down when you're going to play in a tourney and second, it'll be easier to search files and chat with everyone else during the downtime that always ensues.
i think we should definitely do the dc++ deal and completely ditch using win file sharing.
some people arent thateasy to change over and plus this means youll have to load on everyones computer witch alot wont letyou but i my self like ftp there easy and fast buti will try out your prog and see how itworks .

Correct me if I am wrong, Oni, but mIRC is not freeware. I believe its shareware is it not? I believe the same for Daemon Tools.

mIRC is technically freeware. Khaled hasn't added anything that blocks you from using the software past the trial period, not counting the annoying 5 second nag before you can connect.

Thank you for evaluating mIRC. mIRC is shareware, which means that it can be evaluated for 30 days, after which it needs to be registered if you wish to continue using it.
mIRC was freeware, I believe, before the 6.XX version was released.
Daemon Tools is freeware.
