I was checkin some news stuff out this morning and saw something hilarious.

i swear, the people that make these reality tv shows are so lame. they are soo desperate to do something intresting, yet its been done like 100 times before just different race, or people each time. amish in the city would kill them selves after 2 days.

I have heard that it is very normal for Amish teenagers to go to the "city" to see what their life is like. They go and spend some time in our world and then they can decide if they want to return.

Not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that somewhere.

I have also heard that, i think i saw it on Oprah or something, but when they hit 18 they go out on their own for like a couple of months i think. After that they have a choice of staying Amish or living a normal life like the non-amish do.

I live near amish country and amish come to town all the time for work and shopping. This reality series is going to have them living like a movie star.
