Anyone interested in an Old game tournament @ SF?

Something like Quake2, Duke Nukem or whatnot. :) Could squeeze it in somewhere for those not interested in the Sim ( usually Warcraft 3 ) tournament.

I've tried play Duke Nukem a couple of years ago. OMG, I just can't play it anymore. The graphics and controls are the worst part. I'm so used to using mouse-look, it just doesn't feel right playing with a mouse or keyboard in Duke Nukem....

I'm up for playing Quake 2, Blood 2, Starsiege:Tribes, and hell even Half-Life - War In Europe mod.

BTW, Duke Nukem - The Statium... Best Level Ever!!!

We tried Duke Nukem, Rise of the Triad, and Doom 1 at the last LAN Softgod ran. Basically your either stuck with no sound, horrid graphics (noone runs 14 inch monitors any more), bad controls, or *gasp* no network connectivity. So yeah, it's kinda bunk, but thats life.

Look for Quake 1 engine games and anything newer than that for "old school" tournaments. A TetrisNET tourney would be fun, or WORMS.
