Wow, Great
Event. This is by far my favorite event out of all the events that Rebo and I
have run. Thanks to all the attendees for their support and great attitude. We
continue to improve reliability and come up with new interesting ways of making
StompFest and unique experience. Now for the rundown of the top 4 LAN parts.

Power

The new
power equipment worked perfectly. It sped up setup and tear down time. It was
also easy and safe to use. StompFest staff spent a lot time working on the new
power in design and development.

Network

Beautiful
network! Can you tell that I am in charge of it? <;)> We bought some new wire
and with the help of XeroCool and the network peeps over at
ID LAN, we had the new network wire ran and
crimped in no time. The backbone was lit up like a Christmas tree with the no
lag. Kommodor Kezden patrolled the network and stopped several viruses and
worms before they could spread through the network.

Snack Bar

What can I
say except I love that BBQ and BAWLS? Thanks to all the staff that helped out.
Ah and I love those Krispy Kreme Donnuts... Dognuts... Doughnuts. OK, I know I
can?t spell but it?s not that important if you can read this from CodeZero:

Tourneys/Contest

I rule all
(except 1) in MOH! Counter Strike is a touchy subject, but hey, when is it
not? The Team DFI challenge was awesome to watch as they tore up everyone who
challenged them. The Lubics contest was also another cool thing to watch as
people building the case would eventually formed some kick ass cases, but only
one was able to keep it. Some lucky kid got a NEW
AMD PC with a DFI LANParty Mobo
from PimpRig because of his family owned
Dell 500 MHz. GallowGlass won the Sponsor Scavenger Hunt and we will post his
points soon.

Final Thanks

Thanks to all the
Sponsors that made it out to the event. Thanks to the StompFest Team - Prix,
Sleeper, Eliasen, Nuno, CodeZero, Oni, Scallywag, Kezden, XeroCool, Small Frag,
Jessica Sparger, Linda and Scott Smith, Lea Rebennack,
[iG]QueenBee, Rogue42, Sourcer, IndySol. And again thanks to the
Attendees for their continued support and great attitude.
