Soon to be transplanted! guidance anyone?

Heya all you Indy ppl! i just went on an interview with PIP printing down there (i live in Fort Wayne right now) on friday.

well i nailed the interview, and will soon be moving to the badass town that is Indy! anyways, some of you might know me/know of me from the FWGG gang. I always try to make it to a stompfest when i can...and now i will have no excuse!

anyways i was wondering what the fun things in town to do are!? over 21 here...so i am down for frosty beers, and i already am a huge fan of Alcatraz downtown. but i want some info from the ppl that are natives!

anyone care to show a fellow geek the ropes of the town? i would be willing to drive, just need a tourguide! :D

i am gonna be down there starting monday the day after mom's day for a week long trial. gotta stay in a hotel room for that, but anyone needing a roomie...or if ya know some good apts. for rent i would appreciate it!

man...you guys have no idea how stoked i am!

Welcome to Indy. I hope Hunter didn't run you out of town ;). There is a ton of things to do in Indy. Personally, if I have a chance to go down town, I go to Acapulco Joe's and the cyber cafe above it off of Illinois st (I think). Netheads (http://www.netheads.com) is in broadripple and that area of town is well known for some late night action :D.

Where abouts in Indy? there's all sorts of people all around the circle to hang out with on a regular basis.

Northeast: Codezero, Eliasen, Aura to name a few.

South: All the cool people ;)

West: Some semi-cool people, and then Oni. ;)

Should find people around you and go do some things together.
