A big screen what says what tournies are running. With what server and a list of players in that tourney.

IE screen should look like this

CALL OF DUTY

Time left to join
3:15

Server #1 Server #2

Bob Billybobjoe
Joe monkey lover
Bill thatguy

And you can flash screens.... Highlight names that were in so everyone knew who was not..
Add a timer left to join..

You guys are creative you know what i am talking about...

I agree! and let me trump your idea! make the bigscreen shootup a web page that auto refreshes every 1 min, the web page can then be altered by any of the staff members, thus not one staffer getts nailed all the time for who-what-when questions.

This can then be made better by little messages (not ovbios) like "flagg come to stage to collect your prize" and have it up for 15min, I don't look at it then it goes to another name. Also add "bawls on sale"

Not to be rude, but thats like asking Microsoft why their security holes weren't patched sooner. When you run a large operation, whatever it may be, things are easily overlooked.

Ill see if I can write a Java Applet To Display All That Information for the next Stompfest. Stuff Like Timers, and Server Information. Maybe even Tournament Ladders.

Keep in mind practicality with possibility. :P All suggestions are welcome, and many I've seen have been thought of, or done in the past but unable to happen at the event come time or in preperation.

Feel free to check the old SF pictures for things done in the past. This time I felt the projector wasn't quite possible due to the seating arrangements / tournament timings.

We have our priorities and sometimes things just don't make the final showing. :P Thanks all for the ideas, keep them coming.
