I am coming to Stompfest from Florida, therefore I am obviously going to be flying. Have any of you ever flown with your computer before? I am a little concerned about getting to the airport and them saying I can't carry it on. I am flying with delta and there carry on size limit is 22x14x9, my computer is 19x17x8, and they wont let you check a computer. Shipping it will be expensive, but if it will be easier than flying with it, I will do it. What can any of you recommend?

Make sure all your drives are screwed down securely with all four screws. It might be a good idea to remove the drives and have them in your carry on bag wrapped in bubble wrap. Make sure your cards are secure. You may consider removing the AGP card if your has a large heatsink.
Remove the heat sink from the CPU. A jolt from the case hitting the luggage cart or something could pop it off, socket and all. A higher risk if you have a heavy, copper heatsink. Put a note on the side of the case reminding you to put it back in!!
Foam is your friend. If you have the shipping box your case came in, put it in that for transport. If not, get a box that is sturdy and has room for lots of packing peanuts. U-Haul has some nice, heavy duty ones. Or you could even get a Rubbermaid-type container. Make sure the box is securely taped closed. Go a little overboard on the tape. Its better to err on the side of caution. Reinforce the corners of the box with tape as well.
Hope this helps!
