I was cruising some gaming news sites, and I noticed a few quotes from Mark Rein. His quotes follow:

The demo is nearly ready to go. It should be out sometime within the next few days. Keep watching this space (the stickies) for an announcement. When it's ready we'll just be releasing it randomly to a few major sites so that hopefully it will spread like wildfire and everyone will be able to get it from their favorite games site. There won't be any special exclusives or anything like that. We want everyone to be enjoying it the minute it goes live.

Then, he realizes that if the date slips again, people are going to be pissed.

I'm expecting the demo to be out sooner than 5 days but things have a way of cropping up and biting us in the ass so you never know. It could be as early as tomorrow or as late as the weekend but I'm pretty confident that it's this week.

So, hopefully, sometime before this weekend, we'll have some UT goodness...

BF1942 Full Version will be out today from Electronics Boutique, 9-12 (My B-Day!! YAY!) at CompUSA, and 9-13 at Best Buy. Out well before Stompfest. UT2k3 Demo will definitely be cool to have at Stompfest, but im bringing the 2 CD UT2k3 Final Beta also.

I hear, from Mark Rein, they pushed out a ton of stuff and made it 100 megs even. Only 1 player model available.

To my knowledge, yes. Your better off hitting the ebworld.com site. Use code BF1942FS (i think, check www.battlefield1942.com to be sure) for the free shipping. I'd even call ahead of time to make that store has it. Yes though there is one in the greenwood mall. www.ebworld.com if you need the phone number. Use the store locator.
