Refresh rate issues. Check out the NVTool if you have a Nvidia chip. www.voodoofiles.com has it.

Now that you mention DirectX, I was wondering if anyone knows of any problems for DirectX 9 and the Radeon series of ATi. I used it for about 2 weeks and didn't experience any problems, and I was going to go back to it cause it seemed to have less crashes in CS for me. If anyone wants a copy of the DirectX 9 SDK (which obviously comes with the full DirectX 9), I will do my best to help you out.

Get the patch and read the readme.

If you have 100mhz refresh, there is a file in the config you have to edit.

Once that's done, all is good.
