this is my 4th one and i've loved them all the only compaint of my is when they used the 10 base switches instead of those kill 100 base hubs. but i still gamed my ass off cause i couldnt leech very much

well i think that we may be able to get treefrog, on of my clan j35u5 mates to team up with us he is better than i am but ill have to ask him.

well i had halflife on my comp just for dod but then 2.0 came out and i hated it. so i deleted half life all together(actually i need room to leech at MML and it was 2.1 gig of space so i got riod of it). but if 3.0 is good i may install half life again and play it. but i really really didnt like the changes they made to 2.0 so if its alot like 2.0 then thats not looking good for me to play dod 3.0 then.

I dunno, I just wanna throw my opinion down:
I prefer mods of games that are released for free than to retail games that are similar. In my opinion retail games have been corrupted by the greed of money. Take EA for example, they released like 20 different games last year that were sub-par, if you ask me, and they was just hoping for one to stick. I'd rather play the free mods because people made the game for the joy of doing it, whereas companies do it for the greenbacks and don't really put much passion into the game.
I just needed to get that off of my chest. What do all of you guys think?

i kinda see your point but also everything cant be free if u notice the mod of a game u still have to buythe game engie from whoever the maker is so someone is still getting your money somewhere

I agree with Zoline. In my opinion DoD 3.0 is better than MOHAA. I also want to state that every game out now should have the Excessive Overkill mod included or something. That mod makes any game fun.

I also disagree too.... Mod developers, i.e. Gooseman and the CS Team, strive to be noticed and become game developers or to see their mod become a real game. Much like that one long forgotten Mod that went retail, and I don't mean CS.

im not saying mods are bad but its just an extension of the base game. like the no rocket/sniper mod for mohaa or the no bazooka mod. but i have like a ton of mods for q3 and i play them more than the regular game. i play instagib for q3 constantly. but a game isnt fun when u cant joke with it and some people that play cs dont have fun because they are to serious about the game.

Okay, Code you got a point about Mods going retail, but the majority of the mod community isn't corrupted by the thought of making money. The know it's there, but the modders that do it for the love of the game make the better mods, i.e. DoD.
